League Information

As many of our members are aware, in order to further our firearms training as Law Enforcement Officers, the NCPCPL had adopted the NRA Tactical Police Competition format for the 2011 Season. In 2012, we moved away from TPC, due mainly to scoring and support issues, and adopted simpler scoring rules more in line with other local matches.

The North Carolina Police Combat Pistol League allows and encourages civilians to compete in the match. For law enforcement officers this provides a venue to compete and practice in a more dynamic manner.

Spectators are welcome, but must utilize eye and ear protection and follow all safety guidelines.

Match & Membership Fees:

Membership in the league is open to all shooters, civilian and law enforcement alike.  Dues are $25.00 per year. Matches are $20.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members. Only members are eligible to attend the end of the year meeting and banquet. We strive to return almost all of our league dues in the form of prizes at the end of the year. We are not for profit, and entry fees and dues help cover expenses. Our league staff is comprised entirely of volunteers.

Now League dues can be paid via Paypal!

Weapon Requirements:

The matches may be shot with the shooter’s choice of law enforcement style rifle and shotgun utilizing optic or iron sights. See the rules for more details.

Match Info:

All courses of fire and round counts are determined when the stages are set up, typically about 12-24 hours before the match is set to begin. Check us out on Facebook for pre match updates.
